I am Claude T. Martinez, a 24 year old Video Producer and Video Editor. During my four years of experience, I have learned first hand skills required for any video editing production.

2018 - 2020 - South Suburban College - Production Assistant: I was tasked with editing social media videos, journalism on social media, sports recaps and artist spotlights’. 

​

2020-2022 - Governors State University - Producer: I was in charge of producing all sports productions, halftime shows, teaching assistant and was the Student Ambassador of the Campus Life Channel.

Fall of 2022 - Making History Project - Internship (Video Editor): With this internship I was a video editor; editing oral history videos. (All videos will be archived in the Library of Congress).

Winter 2022 - SPLC - Journalism Camp: I was a student journalist for the Student Press Law Center advocating for student media rights. I contacted Illinois representatives advocating for change in the current student media law, which should protect faculty members.

Spring 2022 - GSUTV (CCM) - Producer and Video Editor: At CCM (The Center for Community Media) we produced a monthly 29:30 minute program for Comcast Channel 19; which displays local events for the residents of the Southland of Chicago. (Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. CT).

 

Spring 2022 - Phoenix New - Producer for Audio Newscast:  I was the Producer and Audio Editor of a weekly newscast called 'Jaguar Pride'. The stories covered campus news for the student at Governors State.

Spring 2022 to Current - Region Sports Network - Producer and Video Editor:

At RSN I'm responsible for live streaming, filming and editing Northwest Indiana High School Sports, creating highlight videos, sports news recaps, social media posts, reels, YouTube quality control/archiving and editing coach interviews

Summer 2022 - Synergy Sports - Camera Operator: I freelanced with Synergy Sports covering the Nike Tournament of Champions (Main Courts) and the Under Armour Finals.

Finally, in my free time I produce and edit history videos on YouTube at Claude’s History Course, which are all APA cited.  In the future I look forward to being an asset to all production companies.
